2006–2008: Beginnings
Lee started auditioning and landed minor roles in several television dramas such as Nonstop 5 and Recipe of Love. His official debut role was in an EBS series, Secret Campus (2003).Early in his career Lee went by the stage name Lee Min because his agency thought his birth name was too ordinary. However, as his stage name was pronounced and written (Hangul) in the same way as the Korean word imin, which means "immigration", it made it hard for him to show up his ball in internet search results. He eventually went back to using his original name.

In 2006, his acting career was put on hold for a year following a serious car accident, while riding with fellow actor Jung Il-woo. Lee was severely injured and spent several months bedridden.Upon recovery, Lee received his first leading role in the high-school drama Mackerel Run in 2007, but the series was reduced to only eight episodes due to low viewership ratings. In 2008 he appeared in various roles on television (dramas Get Up and I Am Sam) and two movies, Public Enemy Returns and Our School's E.T.. During the shooting of the latter he became good friends with actor Kim Su-ro, who later praised him on a variety show: "I recognize a star when I see one. When I was doing Our School's E.T., I knew that Lee Min-ho would become one of the top actors in the country".

2009–2012: Breakthrough
Lee's breakthrough came in 2009 with the lead role of Gu Jun-pyo in KBS's Boys Over Flowers, the Korean adaptation of the popular Shōjo manga of the same name. Competition for the leading role was very intense and Lee only got to know he was cast from the newspapers. The series attracted high viewership ratings and buzz throughout South Korea during its broadcast, Lee's new-found popularity gained him many endorsement deals and created another Korean Wave throughout Asia which made Lee a Hallyu star.

In 2010, Lee starred in romantic comedy Personal Taste, in which he played an ambitious perfectionist young architect who poses as a gay man to become roommates with a young woman, leading to romantic complications. When asked about why he chose the role during an interview he responded "I think I would do a better job playing heavy and more defined roles when I am older. I think "Personal Taste" was perfect because it is bright, cheerful but you can also laugh and cry over it as well."

In 2011, he played the titular character in action drama City Hunter, which was loosely based on Tsukasa Hojo's popular manga. The drama was a commercial success across Asia, and contributed to Lee's growing popularity, most notably in Japan, Philippines, China, and parts of Europe. He participated in a popular Chinese variety show Happy Camp in December 2011.

In 2012, Lee starred in historical-medical drama, Faith with Kim Hee-sun. Although the drama garnered viewership ratings around the 10% range, it was a commercial flop due to its high budget.

2013–2016: International fame

In April 2013, Lee's wax figure was unveiled at the Madame Tussauds in Shanghai. He then released his first album "My Everything" in May 2013 and went on a fan meeting tour in Asia.

Lee also announced his return to television with a new drama titled The Heirs, a teen drama written by Kim Eun-sook. On why he decided to take on the role of a chaebol heir in high school four years after playing one in Boys Over Flowers, he answered "Before I grew past my 20s, I wanted to play a more upbeat character, one that would allow me to return to that feeling of simple, uncomplicated innocence that I had when I was younger." Premiering on October 9, 2013, The Heirs enjoyed immense popularity both locally, with a peak rating of 28.6%, and internationally, having over one billion hits on the Chinese streaming website iQiyi. Lee experienced an increase in his popularity, particularly in China.

On Jan 30, 2014, Lee became the first Korean celebrity to perform on China's CCTV Lunar New Year gala. He sang a song with Harlem Yu, the original singer of the theme song of Meteor Garden, the Taiwanese version of Boys Over Flowers. He was also invited to the third conference of the South Korean Presidential Committee for Cultural Enrichment as the representative for the entertainment industry, to share and contribute to the discussion of issues related to developing Korea's cultural content. Lee received the "Prime Minister Award" at the 5th Korean Popular Culture & Arts Award for his contribution to Hallyu.

The album release coincided with the start of his RE:MINHO fan meeting tour which spanned various Asian cities.

He then took on a starring role Yoo Ha's noir action film Gangnam Blues (2015), set in the 1970s when the real estate development boom swept across Gangnam. The movie, which co-stars Kim Rae-won, marks Lee's first leading role in a feature film.

In 2016, Lee starred in the action comedy Bounty Hunters, directed by Shin Terra. The film topped box office charts on its release date and went on to gross US$29 million in China. Honours

A wax statue of Pattinson was added to the Madame Tussauds collection in London and New York City in 2010. Personal life

In 2008, Pattinson became romantically linked to Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart. For a long time, the two did not explicitly confirm a relationship, but press photographs and eyewitness accounts drove intense media and fan speculation and attention. However, Stewart officially acknowledged her relationship with Pattinson for the first time in July 2012, when Us Weekly published photos of Stewart having an affair with her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders. The day that the photos were released, Stewart issued a public apology to Pattinson at People Magazine, saying, "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry." After dodging the question repeatedly, Pattinson confirmed in an interview with Esquire UK in July 2014 that he and Stewart had split in 2012. There had been prior speculation that the couple broke up in May 2013, when Pattinson was seen removing personal items from Stewart's home.

In September 2014, Pattinson started dating singer FKA Twigs. They were engaged from April 2015 to October 2017

Modelling
pattinson began modelling at the age of 12, but his workload began to decrease four years later. In December 2008, he blamed the lack of modelling work on his masculine appearance: "When I first started I was quite tall and looked like a girl, so I got lots of jobs, because it was during that period where the androgynous look was cool. Then, I guess, I became too much of a guy, so I never got any more jobs. I had the most unsuccessful modelling career." Pattinson appeared in the advertising campaign for Hackett's autumn 2007 collection.

In November 2010, Pattinson was approached by Burberry to be the face of the their brand with £1m deal, which he turned down.

This campaign has also featured the track Whole Lotta Love by English rock band Led Zeppelin. Goldin, later released a book titled Robert Pattinson: 1000 Lives, collection of Pattinson's images from the campaign.

In January 2016, he appeared in another campaign for Dior Homme shot by German photographer and director Peter Lindbergh. Next month, he was announced as the first ambassador of Dior Homme Menswear and appeared in brand's 2016 fall collection campaign shot by Karl Lagerfeld. Rules That Make A Man A Gentleman

                                                                                                                                             by Animesh kumar Lenka

A true gentleman is respectful to everyone in his orbit, from women he'd like to date to elderly people who need help with their groceries. He takes impeccable care of his appearance, is polite to everyone who deserves it, and is kind to women regardless of whether or not he thinks he has a chance with them. To be a true gentleman, you need to be self-aware, mature, and courteous. Although it may seem that chivalry is dead, you can make a difference by making the effort to bring more respect and care into the world.

"A gentleman is someone who does not what he wants to do, but what he should do.”
Haruki Murakami – Norwegian Wood

1. A gentleman never tells

No gossiping, spreading rumours or running others down – a real gent always protects the integrity of both himself and people around him.

2. A gentleman knows the difference between confidence and arrogance

No one likes to deal with egotists and show-offs. A bit of self-confidence, on the other hand, makes a man come across as strong and admirable. Keep it respectful – 77% of females find ‘laddish’ behaviour to be the most unattractive trait of a gentleman.
3. For a lady, a gentleman always offers his seat and opens the door
It’s not a sign that she’s in any way weak; rather, it’s a time-honoured gentlemanly gesture of care and affection.

4. A gentleman never judges

He knows that judging a person does not define who they are, it defines who he is.

 5. A gentleman has a firm handshake and always makes eye contact

Weak grips and averting gazes are huge no-no’s when one gentleman meets another.

Don't talk about yourself too much. You can tell people enough to let them know a little bit about you, at first, but you should wait to really reveal every last thing about yourself. In addition to making you a much more desirable conversationalist, it will make you seem more mysterious to not share too much, which many women find attractive. Get a basic idea of what's going on in music, sports, and politics so you can sound intelligent when you make conversation. Be sure about subjects you state are important to you by making the effort to stay up-to-date on them.
  • Instead, focus on asking people questions about their interests, hobbies, and plans. Let them know that you’re more interested in them than yourself.

Treat women with respect. The worst thing you can do to a woman is look her up and down like she’s a piece of meat. Women are human beings with their own thoughts, hopes, and goals, and you should never ogle them and treat them like they’re only there to serve as a feast for your eyes. When you meet a new woman, ask her name and get to know her for real, instead of just staring at her like you’re undressing her with your mind.
  • Gentlemen understand that women are to be treated with respect. They don’t talk to them with cheesy pick-up lines and prefer some tasteful, lighthearted flirting instead.

How to Increase Your Height

Expert Reviewed

Growing taller is mostly about genetics. Between 60% and 80% of your height is determined by the DNA that your parents passed down to you, whereas about 20% to 40% of your growth is influenced by your environment. This means your diet, your health, how much you exercise, and how much sleep you get. Until your growth plates (the areas where your bones grow) close, you will keep growing. A good diet, healthy exercise, and lots of sleep can help you get taller in this period than you would otherwise. For most people, however, growth plates close in their early twenties, and after that, they are not going to gain any inches naturally. Women typically stop growing around age 18 while men may stop around age 20.

how to increase your height naturally

Those who are of average or short height often wish they were taller. Being tall can improve how a person feels about himself or herself. People with short height, particularly men, may be self-conscious about it and feel less confident.
A person’s height is determined to a great extent by genetics, but it is not necessarily the only determinant. There is a hormone in the body known as Human Growth Hormone (HGH) that regulates height. HGH is produced by the pituitary gland and is highly essential for the growth of long bones and cartilage.
Several other factors play a key role in determining height, such as smoking during pregnancy, poor post-natal care, low birth weight and poor health during childhood.

1. Exercise and Sport

                  Related image

Exercise. Whatever you do, take the time to exercise. Exercise is crucial for your healthy development and general well-being. If you want to grow tall during your teen years especially, get in the habit of exercising your body. Some stretches can help you to release your spine and improve your posture. If you stretch the first thing in the morning and the last thing at night, it can help you to become more upright, and thus make the most of your height.

                               Related image

  • Try jumping around by playing basketball or skipping.
  • Try stretching out your back and limbs by swimming.
  • There is no specific amount of time you should be doing this for to increase height, but the more the better.
  • It is recommended that people children and adolescents should do an hour of exercise a day to be healthy. To give yourself the best chance of growing taller, try to exceed this amount.
  • Toe touches. Stand up straight and raise your hands up to the sky, and then reach down to touch your toes.
  • Cobra stretch. Lie on your front with your hands at your sides and then push up on your hands to raise your chest and tilt back your head.
  • Bridge stretch. Lie on your back with your hands at either side of you, then, pressing down on your hands, raise your abdomen off the ground to stretch your back.

 2.Take Ashwagandha

                              Related image

According to Ayurveda, ashwagandha (scientific name: With aniasomnifera), also known as Indian ginseng, helps increase height. Ashwagandha contains various minerals that broaden the bone skeleton as well as its density. This, in turn, increases your height. You can easily find ashwagandha in an herbal store.

                                                        Related image

  • Mix two tablespoons of ashwagandha powder in a glass of warm cow’s milk.
  • Add sugar or jaggery according to your taste and mix well.
  • Drink it every night before going to bed, at least for 45 days to increase your height.

Note: For this remedy to work, you must avoid fast food completely.

 3.Drink Milk

                    Related image

Milk is rich in calcium, an important mineral for bone growth. Calcium also acts as a height booster. Besides calcium, milk has vitamin A and protein that are essential for overall development of the body, including height.

To increase your height by a few inches, drink at least two to three glasses of milk daily. In addition, eating dairy foods like cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt, and cream can have an effect on height.

4.Get Proper Sleep

Image result for Get Proper Sleep

When you rest, the body grows and regenerates tissues. In fact, the Human Growth Hormone (HGH) responsible for increasing height is produced naturally in the body when you have a sound and deep sleep.During sound sleep, the brain is relaxed and releases more growth hormones. On the other hand, a tired brain shows the low release of growth hormones. As a rule, during the growing stage, a person must have at least eight to 11 hours of proper sleep every night to enjoy maximum height.

5. Eat a Balanced Diet

                                Related image

It has been found that lack of proper nutrients is one of the leading causes behind people failing to reach their maximum height. To get proper nutrition, follow a balanced diet. Essential nutrients like zinc, manganese, vitamin C, protein, potassium, calcium, and phosphorus provide the required stimulus for increasing height.

A daily diet should contain fresh leafy greens and colored vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, whole grains, and low-fat dairy products, all in their proper proportions.
